Business Development Executive

One of the UK's leading currency brokers is currently seeking candidate/s to take on Business Development roles in the Partnership Team. Successful applicants will be responsible for supporting sales efforts by sourcing, establishing, and building relationships across the ‘Professional Advisor’ and ‘International Property’ sectors over the phone and by email. They will be responsible for researching and identifying new partner opportunities, presenting their services to prospects and increasing awareness of the brand, using the company’s CRM system and dedicated partner platform.

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, and working closely with marketing and sales departments, you will target businesses and organisations that will mutually benefit from our strategic partnership.

An ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in high-activity phone and email prospecting. Cold calling within your target sector is a necessity to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Be able to identify potential partners and the decision makers within the target organisation
  • Demonstrate keen attention to detail and the motivation to deliver high quality work product
  • Have the ability to be self-motivated and work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Have the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers
  • Be able to multi-task and meet deadlines/targets

£16,000 to £45,000




Content Writer

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing content and blog posts for a range of financial and emigration based websites.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Relevant qualification/experience in journalism or English
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Numerate and literate
  • Able to work on own initiative and be a team player
  • Basic knowledge of social media and SEO would be an advantage

Sales Manager

You will be responsible for a large office-based Foreign Exchange sales team dealing mainly with private clients and report to the Managing Director. You must have excellent organisational, communication and training skills as well as CRM experience. A proven track record in sales management is essential, with the ability to provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring company sales targets are achieved
  • Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
  • Establishing and maintaining good communication between yourself and the sales teams
  • Managing the day-to-day operations and processes of a busy sales team
  • Ensure good customer service & collate customer feedback
  • Liaising with partners and other departments
  • Dealing with complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Analysing monthly CRM reports for training purposes & identify training needs
  • Recruiting sales staff
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Reporting to senior management

The Candidate:

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Comfortable with technology, including use of CRM and online platforms
  • Good planning and organisation skills

Foreign Exchange Dealer

As a Foreign Exchange Dealer you will work directly with private clients, dealing with enquiries on the telephone and opening new client accounts with a view to trading the client’s chosen currency. You will learn all about the foreign exchange market and the product options that are available for clients depending on their requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years previous sales experience, ideally telephone-based, plus a customer focused background. You will also be hardworking, motivated and have excellent organisational and communication skills. This role requires you to be a self-starter and possess a flair for working with numbers.

The position is based at their head office in Penzance, Cornwall and the successful candidate will receive a basic salary plus uncapped commission. OTE’s of £50k are easily achievable with top achievers reaching £100k+.

Experienced Full time Sales Trainer

This role is working with an accomplished foreign exchange sales team focusing on their initial and ongoing training and development. You will be a key player in developing the talent at the heart of one of the fastest growing companies in the Southwest. You will be joining a collaborative and forward thinking group working in great surroundings with a fantastic team of dynamic people.

You should be confident in your knowledge of consultative and deal-brokering sales techniques and combine this with your expertise in both coaching and training to develop others. The key goal of Sales Trainer is to utilise their skills to improve performance and results in line with the business objectives. You will have the ability to conduct learning needs analysis; breakdown goals and targets to develop action plans; design and deliver effective sales training programmes; validate and reinforce learning and evaluate results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Train all new inductees into the business
  • Deliver refresher training to inductees after 4 weeks of being in the job
  • Deliver ongoing training modules on the sales process
  • Develop the training material
  • Carry out tests after each of the sessions to validate training
  • Coaching and monitoring of sales calls
  • Analysing monthly CRM reports for training purposes

The Candidate:

  • Phone based sales training experience essential
  • Previous experience as a top performing sales person or sales trainer
  • Happy to work in a fast paced environment
  • A desire to constantly improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches
  • Have a desire to achieve results
  • A flexible approach to work and not afraid to put the extra hours in
