Junior Web Developer

An excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our web development team. You will work as part of a team and will be required to develop and maintain the core websites.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Experience of PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, and Javascript.
  • Knowledge of ASP would be an advantage.

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm

Business Development Manager

Salary plus uncapped Commission, OTE £50k+

Responsible to: Head of Business Development

Hours: 9am – 5.30pm or as necessary to perform the role
Location: Penzance (Field Sales Cornwall/Devon)

Main duties of the post:
Responsible for generating new business relationships by telephone canvassing and field sales for TorFX to agreed targets.  You will be expected to maintain the highest standards of administration in accordance with the agreed TorFX sales process, ensuring that our CRM system is accurately updated and that the required documentation is completed for all new business opportunities.

You will develop and maintain effective prospective partnerships and will be responsible for developing a select amount of existing house relationships. You will also be required to target company related websites for affiliation agreements, and possibly  represent TorFX at national and local industry events (Chamber, Shows etc)

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Experience within a business development or field sales role
  • Confident negotiator and ability to close the right type of business at the highest levels
  • A proven track record in delivering against personal and team sales revenue objectives
  • An ability to represent the company at the highest level to clients and partners.
  • Ability to manage prospective partner expectations and keep promises
  • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people
  • UK driving license with own car
  • Confidence in presenting / speaking at industry events / workshops by effectively using a range of presentation skills

Estimated time allocation:

50% Telephone prospecting and web research
25% Business pitches and meetings (Cornwall/Devon) Meeting IFA’s, Accountants, Estate Agents etc
15% Developing proposals and strategies
10% managing newly acquired partnerships and a small amount of house accounts

 

Full Time Telesales

Calls will be introducing TorFX to the private sector and obtaining telephone appointments.  Candidates must have excellent telephone manner and a proven track record in telephone sales. Good Hourly Rate. Internal promotion available for the right candidate to Sales Account Executives where OTE is £40k+

 

Sales Account Executives

Positions are full time and based at our head office in Cornwall. You must have previous sales experience with a proven track record, hardworking, motivated, and with excellent organizational skills. Must be a self-starter, and possess a flair for working with numbers.

On target earnings of £40k are easily achievable.
