Jon Beddell - Managing Director
After gaining a degree in business management from the University of East Anglia, Jon entered the financial markets as a stockbroker in the city of London. Joining TorFX as head of operations in 2004, Jon has helped build the company’s annual transaction volumes to over $500m. As an MSTA qualified analyst, and FSA registered investment advisor, Jon aims to instill a culture of professional excellence in our trading operations.
Ashley Warden - Financial Director
After obtaining a computer science degree and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst &Young, Ashley was a founding partner of a start-up business solutions provider that was successfully sold to a trade buyer. Subsequently, he became a founding partner of an FMCG gift business, later sold to an American company. At the same time he also established and grew the Independent Fragrance Company; a global operation with offices and factories across the world. Most recently, he was Managing and Financial Director of Baltic Pine Timber Corp Plc, responsible for the restructuring of the group and growing it into the largest bespoke timber conservatory business in Europe. Ashley’s wealth of experience is now helping to underpin the development and growth of TorFX.
Tracy Jackson - Marketing Director
As sales and marketing director of Baltic Pine plc, Tracy was responsible for sales growth from £3m per annum to in excess of £24m, establishing and managing sales teams across the UK. Tracy joined TorFX in February 2005 as head of sales and marketing, and has helped to build the business to its present level. Tracy's aim is to continue to build on the strong team of foreign exchange professionals at TorFX, and to actively recruit and train in line with our expansion programme.
Nigel Fox - Sales Director
Nigel has held several senior management positions in large and medium size companies, most recently as Chief Executive of Follett Stock, one of the largest solicitors firms in Cornwall. Nigel's focus at TorFX is to grow sales by providing our clients with award winning foreign exchange solutions, coupled with the best customer service in our market place.
Vicki O'Brien - Non Executive Director
Vicki has 15 years experience working with senior management of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies to maximise business growth through the acquisition and exploitation of cutting edge technology. Working for UK and US consulting companies providing business development and open innovation services, Vicki has been responsible for managing UK research teams, fulfilment of the European client base and has extensive experience in market research and database creation / management.
