We know that happy staff make for a better working environment and a more productive workforce, so we like to make sure our teams enjoy a number of little perks and benefits to brighten up the week. On top of the nitty gritty stuff like the Company Pension Scheme, Salary Sacrifice and Death in Service benefit, we go the extra mile in other ways. From ordering in sausage rolls to organising company-funded events and activities, we’re always trying to show our staff we appreciate their efforts.
These are three of the most popular perks we offer...
Fresh fruit – An apple a day keeps the doctor away, so we make sure there are always apples available. And bananas. And a range of other seasonal fruits. We have fresh fruit delivered twice a week so there are always healthy snacks to hand.
Champagne Moment – A pat on the back for a job well done is nice, but a bottle of champagne is even nicer. We invite staff members to nominate colleagues they think have gone above and beyond and present the employee with the most nominations with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate their achievements.
Events – To keep morale high and support our family atmosphere we put on a number of company-funded events throughout the year, including our Christmas party and our big summer beach party. Transport is laid on, food is provided, there’s a live band and the bar is open, so staff can really let their hair down and enjoy spending time with their colleagues outside the office. We also pay for social activities throughout the summer, including kayaking, wakeboarding and go-karting.
Events Committee – We think it’s important that staff from across the company have a say in the kind of events we put on. Our Events Committee is made up of representatives from different departments and is responsible for collecting feedback and putting forward ideas for events staff would like to get involved in.
Here one of our Senior Account Managers, Luke Trevail, talks about the role of the Events Committee and what they get up to.
