^{By participating in our Refer a Friend programme you are confirming that you accept the following terms and conditions:}

• This offer is only open to existing TorFX customers in the UK or EU with an active account with Tor Currency Exchange Ltd. 

• If the person referred already has an account with TorFX, neither the referrer nor the referred person will qualify for the account credit. 

• Referrals will only be considered valid where the referral has been made by the tracked link available in our app or online platform. We will only register referrals as customers if they meet all our onboarding requirements. 

• Customers registered with TorFX UK will be issued account credit in GBP. 
  Customers registered with Currencies Direct Spain E.D.E S.L (TorFX EU) will be issued account credit in EUR. 

• Customers can move the credit between their currency wallets in their account. 

• The referred person must transfer £2000 or the currency equivalent (by a single payment or several payments) into their TorFX account and then convert that amount into another currency (e.g. convert GBP into EUR). Subject to these terms and conditions, we will then issue account credit to the referrer and the referred person within 30 days of the currency conversion. 

• Eligibility for the account credit does not depend on the currencies traded. As long as the value of the transfer/s is equivalent to £2000, the account credit will be issued, subject to these terms and conditions. We will calculate whether the amount transacted is equivalent to £2000 or more using spot rates of exchange at the time of calculation. 

• A referrer may refer any number of friends/family members as long as they don’t reside at the same address. The offer is only open to referrers 18 years of age or older. 

• We will only give account credit if we believe that the referred person has a genuine interest in using our currency transfer services – we won’t give account credit to anyone we think is ‘’recycling’’ money, abusing our scheme, acting fraudulently or not acting in good faith. All decisions about the validity of referrals are at our discretion. 

• The referrer is not allowed to create more than one TorFX account for the purposes of this scheme or to issue refer a friend links to themselves or to people who they do not know personally. 

• This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer. The scheme excludes TorFX employees (and anyone employed by other companies within the Redpin Group) and their extended family members, affiliates of TorFX and their employees and also excludes anyone who uses TorFX services via their employer’s benefits or payroll scheme. 

• The referrer and referred person cannot live at the same address. 

• TorFX may terminate a referrer’s or referred person’s access to the refer a friend scheme or refuse to pay an account credit at its discretion if it believes that any of these terms has been breached or a condition has not been met. 

• TorFX may alter, discontinue or suspend the "refer a friend" scheme or change its rules at any time. If we decide to make a significant change or discontinue the scheme, we will give at least four weeks’ notice of that by placing a notice on this website. 

• The refer a friend scheme runs for an indefinite period until discontinued by us, as set out above. The last date on which you can make a claim under this scheme is the final business day of the four weeks’ notice period referred to above. 

• These terms and conditions are governed by English law.
