The Recruitment Journey

The Recruitment Journey

We like to make the recruitment journey as straightforward as possible. If you’re interested in a position simply send us a CV. You can attach a cover letter if you want to let us know a bit more about you, but it isn’t essential.

If we like what we read we’ll get in touch by phone or email and invite you to come for an interview. As we receive a high number of applications for all positions it isn’t always possible for us to respond to everyone, so if you don’t hear from us within four weeks please assume your application has been unsuccessful.

While most interviewees visit us in our Penzance office, we’re flexible and will conduct interviews over the phone or by Skype if appropriate.

At the end of the interview we’ll let you know how many more people we’re planning to see and when you’re likely to find out if you’ve been successful.

If we do offer you the position (and you accept) we’ll send out your formal offer by post. This will include a previously agreed start date based on the notice period you have to work out in your current position.

On your first day you’ll have an induction with your line manager. They’ll give you an in-depth introduction to the company and talk you through your particular responsibilities so you can jump straight in to becoming part of Team Tor!
