By participating in our Refer a Friend programme you are confirming that you accept the following terms and conditions:

1. REFERRALS

1.1 Subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions, TorFX will pay you a £50 Amazon voucher for each new client you refer that opens a private client account with TorFX and makes a currency transfer of any amount. The client you referred will also receive a £50 Amazon voucher. The referral must be made through the form hosted here.

1.2 The referred client must make a transfer involving the conversion of one currency for another (e.g. GBP for EUR) for both parties to qualify for the voucher.

1.3 The referred client must transfer a minimum of £1000 (or equivalent) for both parties to qualify for the voucher.

1.4 While there is no limit to the number of referrals you can make, if we feel the people being referred do not have a genuine requirement for our services, we reserve the right to cap the number of vouchers issued.

1.5 The Amazon vouchers will be sent to the email addresses attached to the referee and referred TorFX accounts and will be issued within 30 days of the referred client trading with us.

1.6 The vouchers are issued in Pound Sterling, are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. All goods and/or services which constitute the vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant service provider. TorFX makes no representation and offers no warranty in respect of those goods and/or services and accepts no liability in respect of the same.

1.7 Any vouchers earned will only be valid for six months from the date of issue. Any vouchers unclaimed after six months can no longer be redeemed.

1.8 This offer replaces the previous Refer a Friend offer promoted by TorFX until 22/04/2024. Any referrals made prior to 22/04/2024 will be subject to the terms and conditions of that offer, available here.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 Employees, immediate family members (including spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents) of employees of TorFX, and referring partners (current affiliates and their employees) cannot participate in the Refer a Friend programme.

2.2 You must be registered with TorFX to participate in the Refer a Friend offer. If the person you refer to TorFX is already registered with us, you will not be eligible for the voucher.

2.3 You cannot reside at the same address as the client you refer.

2.4 This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

3. PROHIBITED USES

You may only participate in the Refer a Friend programme in good faith for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • (a) create more than one account in order to invite yourself.
  • (b) invite people that you do not know personally.
  • (c) transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
  • (d) do anything that damages TorFX’s brand or reputation.
  • (e) attempt to circumvent the terms and conditions.

4. DATA PROTECTION

You must confirm that you have obtained consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with.

5. BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5.1. TorFX has the right to refuse to pay you the referral fee if we suspect that you have not used the Refer a Friend programme in good faith or have breached the terms and conditions.

5.2. TorFX will determine, at its sole discretion, whether there has been a breach of the terms and conditions. When a breach has occurred, TorFX reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Refer a Friend programme at any time.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TorFX accepts no liability for any use of the Refer a Friend programme which does not comply with the terms and conditions.

7. VARIATION

7.1 TorFX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the terms and conditions. Continued use of the Refer a Friend programme shall amount to acceptance of the terms and conditions in force at that time.

7.2 TorFX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, suspend or terminate the Refer a Friend programme at any time, without notice.

8. APPLICABLE LAW

These terms and conditions and any relationship between you and TorFX shall be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
